Exploring Cyprus: Ammachostos-area by bike from Ayia Napa
Waking up early in the morning, starting off with a breakfast full of energy; Eggs.. Bacon..
Grab a few bottles of water because - after all - the temperature will be high. Time to get on my rented bike, prepare to explore new cliffs, parks and sea caves within a few miles distance. Sweating like a waterfall while passing hotels, taverns and lizards running across the pathway. Lizards are always in a hurry, are they enjoying life?
I am inside an oven, open another bottle of water. Forgot my earplugs today.. Listen to nothing, no hands. Breeze...
I'm almost there, took me about 30 minutes. The last part is the worst, up to the cliff, up to the top.. Yes! Accomplished, yet again I'm here. Hard to breath; too warm.. Drink water..
Russian.. Beautiful russian girls with cypriot husbands.. They are so individual, such a different culture, but they see me.. Notice me... What are they saying? I lie down. "Can you take a picture of us?". "Yes Of course" I reply. I'm happy to take a picture of them. They are enjoying their holiday. "No, I'm not a tourist, I work here..."
There are a lot of people here. I jumped! Freedom.. Breeze.. Water.. Does it hurt? No, I'm alright... It was just a few meters.
Time to go back home. I love this Island
