The bad thing tho' is that I had to wait three days; nonetheless I did save myself around twenty dollars, so it was worth the wait. So it came with multiple disks with around three to four episodes of Planet Earth on each of the disks. http://bbs.150it.com/home.php?mod=space&uid=61502 For Date Night Movie Blogs log on to: uaemoviefans.blogspot/
Enough carping. Miss Congeniality had a few good moments, but I would not watch it a second time. One real positive was the final still picture of Sandra Bullock at the end of the film???she never looked better. http://www.art510.com/plus/view.php?aid=17504 The producers originally wanted Laurence Olivier as Thomas More and Alec Guinness as Wosley, but Director Fred Zinnemann insisted on Paul Scofield and Orson Welles in the roles. The rest is history. Zinnemann obviously knew how to direct a great film and a huge box office success.
Interestingly, Charlton Heston lobbied heavily for the role of Sir Thomas More, but was not seriously considered. Richard Burton was offered the part and turned it down. http://www.ywrmei.com/thread-148248-1-1.html Lost in Translation has some great scenes of Tokyo, but like pictures in a photo album, they only reflect the meaning you bring to them.

All of the landscapes were rich as can be in appearance and the animals looked as if they were fluid acros the screen as they moved. I wa?? impressed also on how well Planet Earth was filmed with a HDTV$camera. http://www.22film.com/bce/upload/home.php?mod=space&uid=112560 "Miss Congeniality" had a real identity problem as a movie. Unfortunately for Sandra Bullock, the star of the film as FBI agent Gracie Hart, Miss Congeniality could not take her as far as her performance merited.
When More proves himself to be loyal to King Henry VIII by not speaking out against him and also shows himself to be a loyal subject by not inciting rebellion, Cromwell appears to prosecute Sir Thomas out of personal spite. http://wabnz.com/home.php?mod=space&uid=11209 When More proves himself to be loyal to King Henry VIII by not speaking out against him and also shows himself to be a loyal subject by not inciting rebellion, Cromwell appears to prosecute Sir Thomas out of personal spite.
In many ways, the Muslims come out looking better than the Christians in Kingdom of Heaven, and historically, they were. http://www.table-top.cn/plus/view.php?aid=286178 History records that Saladin and his Muslim troops did recapture Jerusalem after defeating the King of Jerusalem at the Battle of Hattin near the Lake of Galilee. When Saladin's soldiers enter the City of Jerusalem, they were not allowed to kill civilians, rob people, or damage the city.
Eighth, the sound in the film was terrible. There were times when it was impossible to understand the dialog and, without this essential element, there is no way the film would be rated good by my standards. Sound is too basic of a need to succeed and, when it goes unnoticed because it is well done, it is not an issue. http://souyou.org/home.php/home.php?mod=space&uid=67139 In other words, the writers of Miss Congeniality???Marc Lawrence, Katie Ford and Caryn Lucas (and these may be the only ones who were willing to take credit for the script)???did not add much beyond the plot.
A Man for All Seasons would win 6 Oscars at the 1967 Academy Awards: Best Picture (Fred Zinnemann), Best Director (Fred Zinnemann), Best Writing (Robert Bolt), Best Actor (Paul Scofield), Best Cinematography (Ted Moore) and Best Costume Design (Elizabeth Haffenden and Joan Bridge). http://club.07days.com/home.php?mod=space&uid=1423 "Planet Earth" Is A Documentary That Must Be Viewed In HD!
